Turkey

My stay in Istanbul was during a Turkish national holiday. Massive flags hung all over the city showing the Turks tremendous pride in their country. I have never seen such a display of national pride anywhere else in the world.

Generations

At an outdoor market in Kichikildy, an eastern suburb of Istanbul, this family of fruit vendors allowed me a photograph.

Spice Man

This image also comes from the Kichikildy outdoor market. I digitally altered it to simulate a water color painting. This man was selling a large selection of spices. The aroma around his booth was wonderful.
